Schroders boosts market intelligence team
October 5, 2017

Schroders reports the appointments of two specialists joining its expanding Market Intelligence Team.

Marc Micoud has joined from BlackRock while Gilles Cozma has arrived from Franklin Templeton. Both have been hired as Market Intelligence Managers and will report to Sasha Miller, Head of Market Intelligence.

The team was set up in 2015 and consists of data science, investment and product strategy specialists. The team ensures that Schroders is at the forefront of developing new solutions to meet clients' evolving investment objectives.

Prior to joining Schroders, Micoud was most recently a Director in BlackRock's Corporate Strategy and Development team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He joined what was then Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 2003.

During his 14 years at the firm he was also a Vice President in its Global Market Intelligence team for five years until 2014. He has also held market research and intelligence roles at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.

Cozma brings over 10 years of fund research experience covering emerging markets, European and Japanese funds across multiple asset classes, adds Schroders. While at Franklin Templeton, he was a Senior Research Analyst in its multi-asset team. He has also previously worked at Old Mutual Global Investors and Pictet.
