As part of the planned growth of the EMEA Global Custody Product Team we are recruiting a Product specialist to analyse / recommend / develop and implement solutions to client / market driven requests to extend the scope of the product. As a Product specialist, you will be responsible for
Completing time boxed research assignments on behalf of Segment Leaders, Product Developers and the Head of EMEA Global Custody Product
Working with various departments (risk, audit, client services, RM, sales etc) to assess and recommend solutions to various client requests
Gaining a comprehensive understanding of existing capabilities and designing innovative solutions to new opportunities
Operating as a subject matter expert on new requirements (client , industry and market driven)
Providing oversight to product development lead projects
Helping complete RFPs
Working with the Marketing team to ensure a structured process is followed as clients participate in industry surveys
The successful candidate will be have worked in an investment management and / or global custodian environment for a minimum of 5 years in an operations, product or technology role and will exhibit the following skills:
A self starter who is comfortable working on self contained assignments
Proven analytical skills
Familiarity with project management methodologies
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent PC skills particularly with Microsoft applications
A strong team player
A strong overall understanding of the Securities Industry
An excellent practical up to date knowledge of the Global Custodian Industry
The Product Specialist will report to the Head of Product Development. |
