| My client, a pioneer in electronic trading solutions and MTF, is looking for a suitable candidate to take on the role of Senior Manager/Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with being the interface between the business and the clients who utilise their services. You will listen to clients needs and requests acting as a “filter” directing feedback to the client support teams to resolve issues, providing clear guidance and advice to the customer facing teams. Be responsible for the day to day smooth operation of the business, both from a global FIX network and international trading business perspective and have responsibility and accountability within Europe for Technical Support, customer contact as well as middle and back office operations. Coming from a background of brokerage operations with solid technical skills and domain expertise, the successful candidate will take on a role which is varied, exciting and responsible for overall client satisfaction within Europe. Have extensive experience of equity markets, working for a large investment bank probably in a senior middle office/back office capacity and have a good understanding of the electronic equity trading tools offered by various European exchanges and individual sell-side dealers. An ability to work with clients at all levels from strategy to detailed needs, working knowledge of major equity market regulation especially related to London and in particular MiFID and thorough understanding of the FSA Conduct of Business rules applicable to brokerage operations are essential. | |||
