Operating in 90 markets, they stand out for their expertise in fund administration, outsourcing, agent banking, sub custodian and local custody services. They are looking for someone to lead the growth of revenue from asset managers in the insurance sector, through managing a team of business and relationship developers.

Key Tasks:
• Recruits a team the business developers and relationship managers;
• Develops the team’s industry knowledge, understanding of colleagues and capability and allocated clients’ organisational structure through regular development planning and coaching;
• Creates a rolling five year business plan by evaluating the share of wallet of all potential clients within the sub-client segment, providing annual and monthly budgets and allocates accounts to the appropriate people within the team;
• Reports to the Head of UK II with a summary of sector progress on a weekly basis;
• Manages the appropriate balance of business developers and relationship developers within the team, and supports the team in achieving their account plans through effective coaching and counselling on a weekly basis;
• Builds the team’s capability and infrastructure in liaison with the other Segment Heads to provide consistent processes across the UK team and in line with Client Coverage as a whole;
• Becomes recognised as a sub-client segment expert through networking, developing relationships and presenting latest thinking on a consistent basis;
• Attends monthly meetings with relevant product heads, marketing and operations updating on market movements as well as updating other locations as appropriate;
• Leads a bid team to define sales strategy and implement tactics so that the client procurement process is steered to selecting our client on their unique differentiators through weekly bid team meetings with pricing acceptable to the bank’s management;
• Global account strategic selling: When the Lead of the bid team is within a different country or is the Global Relationship Manager, works within a bid team to contribute to strategy and implement tactics through weekly bid team meetings with pricing acceptable to the bank’s management.
