Citi reports securities services revenue up 3 percent
July 15, 2019

Citigroup has reported that securities services revenues increased by 3 percent in the second quarter of the year to US$682 million on a reported basis and 7 percent in constant dollars. This reflected higher rates, as well as an increase in client activity, it says.

Overall, the US giant posted net income for the second quarter 2019 of $4.8 billion, or $1.95 per diluted share, on revenues of $18.8 billion. This compared to net income of $4.5 billion, or $1.63 per diluted share, on revenues of $18.5 billion for the second quarter 2018.
