Silver to join Crédit Suisse
June 7, 2018

Crédit Suisse reports that its equities business has announced a new hire today. The bank announced internally that Nick Silver will join as Managing Director and Head of Equities for Japan.

Based in Tokyo, he will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the overall Equities franchise, across Sales, Execution and Research, in Japan. He will report functionally to Neil Hosie and locally to Martin Keeble, Chief Executive Officer for Japan.

He will join Crédit Suisse in September from Deutsche Bank, where he was Co-Head of Client Financing and Co-Head of Equity Execution, Asia Pacific.

Crédit Suisse adds that Silver has 18 years of industry experience and deep knowledge of Japan's equity market, having worked in Tokyo for five years. He has been instrumental in the build-out of Deutsche Bank‘s prime platform in the region. This is a new position.
