Tony Moore new chair of Econophy Group

Tony Moore has joined The Econophy Group as Chairman of its Advisory Board. The appointment of the former Goldman Sachs Head of Investment Bank took effect on January 1.

Moore has more than 40 years' experience in the global financial services industry building up extensive experience in all aspects of the investment banking and securities industries. Having transacted business in more than 30 countries, he has become well-known and well-respected across a vast network, says M Damian Billy, Found and CEO of the Econophy Group. a private equity firm applying a proprietary model that focus on the technologies; products and services within the Fintech evolution

Moore was Head of Investment Banking for Goldman Sachs Japan, Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Hong Kong and Executive Director at Goldman Sachs London. Previously he held Directorships in Hoare Govett Stockbrokers, Managing Director in Banque Nationale De Paris in Paris, Managing Director of European Corporate Finance at Bankers Trust and Member of the Board of Directors of Bankers Trust International.

Moore has served as Chairman, CEO and/or Director of a large number of public and private companies around the world, including a publicly listed Closed End Investment Fund and as Chairman of Lyn Enterprises Ltd. His experience covers capital markets financing, equity fund raising, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and real estate and fund management. During his career, he has helped to take public more than 100 emerging companies in ten different countries.
